Disclaimer
USB-C adapter has several technologies that support sending image out of the connector in the source. To use the Stoltzen NYX, it is required that the machine supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. There must be information about this in the machine's user guide.
For Apple, we cannot guarantee compatibility 100%, although our latest machines have been successful. To be completely sure, you should consider Apple's own adapter MUF82ZM/A.
