OM2 is a multi-mode fiber with a core diameter of 50 µm. The smaller core diameter provides better range than OM1, but still quite limited for high bit rates. OM2 fiber is fully compatible with newer types of multimode fiber since all of these have a core diameter of 50 µm. Most of our OM2 cords come with an orange outer sheath and clean connectors of top quality. They come with clips that make it easy to change polarity.
- Supplied with clips for easy polarity reversal.
