ISO Certification

 

In recent years, CBK has increased its focus on sustainable development and social responsibility, establishing these as key cornerstones of our corporate culture. In 2020, we obtained certification in quality and environmental management according to the ISO standards 9001 and 14001. 

 

The primary reasons we chose to implement and certify a quality and environmental management system are to ensure profitability, sustainability, and stability, as well as to prevent risks and reduce costs related to quality deficiencies. This reflects our commitment and desire to contribute to sustainable socioeconomic development.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG)

 

CBK defines ESG as part of our ISO efforts related to the continuous improvement of environmental, social, and governance aspects that are relevant to our industry and operations, as well as fostering a good workplace. Environment - ISO 14001

 

At CBK Distribution, environmental considerations are an important focus area. We strive to be a responsible company with a focus on continuous sustainability. We achieve this by evaluating the total environmental impact from raw material extraction through production, use, disposal, and transportation. In this way, our sustainable products enable a more sustainable lifestyle.

 

We work proactively and long-term with the environment as an integrated part of our daily operations. We are constantly working to make environmentally friendly purchases and place the same high demands on our producers and suppliers as we do on ourselves. We are goal-oriented in ensuring that the products we buy have a sustainable design, focusing on reusable materials, lifespan, factory workers' working and environmental conditions, minimal plastic and waste, and the shortest and most environmentally friendly transport to Norway. Our environmental approach must be continuously monitored and improved where possible. To ensure that CBK Distribution's environmental policy is anchored within the company, we have established the following 5 environmental pillars:
